Qualification Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering or related engineering/computer degree.

Experience Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in engineering design or communications field experience.

Special Skills/Training Requirements:

• Experience with data telecommunication network deployment or communications application, such as: laser intrusion detection systems (LIDS), CCTV systems, access and control, intercom systems, public address systems, life safety and knowledge of electrical/communications construction
• Experience in analytic planning or operational, technical and/or administrative duties.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and practical experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Proficiency in the English language with strong verbal, written and communication skills
• Expertise in report preparation and tracking using Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The ability to learn and work with other office productivity computer programs such as Adobe Acrobat and others, a plus.
• Ability to organize project information and reports with attention to detail.
• Ability to organize a team of technical staff for field surveys and follow-up with compiling detailed technical field notes and/or minutes as needed

Description of Work:

• Provide engineering and project management support services for systems and communication capital contracts.
• Schedule, organize and lead site surveys.
• Write electronic field reports and document with photographs.
• Provide design document coordination or other related support (budget, schedule, etc.) for application in the Design Manager’s Office.
• Coordinate design documents as required.
• Coordinate activities with the design disciplines, construction teams and maintenance divisions.
• Coordinate daily work activities for the Design Manager.
• Track and assist Design Manager or his/her designee with resolution of any technical design issues.
