Computer Specialist (Software) Level I

Qualification Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering or related engineering/computer degree.

Experience Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience communications systems and/or radio RF systems.

Special Skills/Training Requirements:

• Knowledge of engineering and complex computer processes with practical experience
• Prefer candidate with knowledge of transit communications systems
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in MS Windows, Word and Excel
• Proficiency in the English language with the ability to clearly write, communicate and organize project information, reports, process design/construction contract-related documents

Description of Work:

• Provide engineering support services for Systems (communications), radio and other systems contracts.
• Responsible for coordinating design and other related engineering documents
• Assemble necessary design documents (SOWs, estimates) for the approval of the Master Plan
• Coordinate daily work activities for the Design Manager according to PM procedures and guidelines
• Identify, track, address and assist the Design Manager with resolution of any issues with design
