Qualification Requirements:

• BS Electrical Engineering or related degree engineering/computer degree

Experience Requirements:

• Five years of experience in communications/electrical systems and related construction field work.

Special Skills/Training Requirements:

• Knowledge of various communications systems, such as public address and customer information displays systems, network, fiber optic equipment, security systems or power plant systems, highly preferred.
• Practical experience with testing equipment, fiber optic cables, as-build drawings, installation practice and commissioning of communication/electrical systems.
• Proficiency in the English language with the ability to clearly write and verbally communicate.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Windows, Word and Excel.

Description of Work:

• Provide technical support the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer to oversee the contractor’s work and ensure that work is being performed as per contract specs and approved shop drawings
• Duties include project administration, quality and safety management as well as preparing daily inspection reports, spreadsheets, other reports, analyses and memos directed by Construction manager or Resident Engineer
• Organize surveys and supervise the testing of communication equipment under the management of the Resident Engineer/Construction Manager
• Organize project information, reports; process construction contract-related documents and interact with other departments.
• Working with Construction manager in meeting project goals, attending project coordination meetings with stakeholders, perform field inspections, testing and placing systems in service.
