Qualification Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering or related engineering/computer degree or Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology
Experience Requirements:
- For Bachelors of Engineering Applicants: Minimum of 4 years’ experience as field engineer administering communications/electrical construction projects.
- For Associates of Engineering/Technology Applicants: minimum of 5 years’ experience in communications/electrical construction projects.
Special Skills/Training Requirements:
- Must be able to work week nights and weekends as required
- Prefer candidate with knowledge of Wireless Communication Technologies
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing in the English language
- Must be able to organize project information and prepare reports with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Must have OSHA 10 certification
Description of Work:
- With minimal supervision, assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing the contractor’s work and ensure that the work is being performed as per contract specification and approved shop drawings
- Duties include Project Administration, quality and safety management as well as preparation of force account reports and cost estimates.
