Assistant Electrical Engineer

Qualification Requirements

A bachelors degree in electrical Engineering from an accredited college and one year of full time experience OR a bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.

Desired Skills/Training Requirements

• Knowledge of various electrical and communication systems and equipment.
• Ability to set priorities and ensure timely completion of assignments, coordinate multiple tasks between contractors, operation and other departments
• Ability to write and speak clearly in English
• Excellent skills with MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• 30 hour OSHA certification is required before commencing any field work.

Description of Work

• Perform inspection of electrical installation working under general supervision.
• Ensure quality and adherence to applicable standards and specs with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Assisting with: field inspections, evaluating change order proposals, reviewing contractor submittals and preparing reports as instructed.
