Introduction:

• We seek an experienced Interactive/UX Copywriter to develop copy associated with new smart phone and mobile device applications and services being developed by the leading US cellular service provider.

Summary of required/desired skills and experience:

• BA Degree in English, Journalism, Interactive or UX Writing, Marketing, or related field
• 3+ years of e-commerce experience developing interactive online copy accessed primarily from mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, laptops)
• Ability to leverage user experience research findings in the development of highly usable and useful copy
• Experience writing compelling copy for onboarding processes
• Creating strategic UX confirmation and error messaging to lead users through UI flows
• Developing copy for interactive products such as: mobile apps, UI task-related text, brand guidelines, alert/error messaging, in-product help, product positioning, etc.
• Designing copy that will optimize the end-to-end user experience, based on an understanding for how users are engaged and interact with the content
• Assuring consistent messaging and brand standards between mobile and desktop channels while adhering to UI guidelines
• Recommends and implements new strategies for communicating product-related information to users
• Developing headlines and openers with high click predictability
• Writing copy that is fresh, helpful and clear for end users, within an established style guide framework
• Experience applying usability thinking to transactional flows in web-based applications
• Ability to add value in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment – requiring a combination of strong negotiation skills and the application of critical thinking; and, ability to work autonomously
